Industry Tours
Conference attendees will select one of the following industry tours to participate in Friday, October 8.
Johnson Controls Inc.—The world’s only multi-building campus to receive LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Buildings Council. The facility, which includes a variety of renewalbe energy installations, state-of-the-art energy management systems, and extended use of day-lighting, is the definitive model for green buildings technology.
Harley Davidson Factory—In this factory tour, you’ll see extraordinatry people channel their pride and expertise into machines that capture the imagination. Experience a behind-the-scenes look at Harley’s manufacturing facility and see what it takes to bring a legend to life.
MillerCoors—The Milwaukee Brewery, one of the world’s largest, sits on land purchased by Miller founder Frederick J. Miller in 1855. Some 800 employees work round-the-clock, producing 10 million barrels of their leading brands every year. The tour includes each fascinating step of the brewing process.
